[PW] No author, no title...

Jennifer,

I think I know which books you are talking about, but I can't remember
the author's name or title either. To the best of my recollection, the
books were epistolary novels but quite unique (at the time, which was
1980s or early 1990s) because they contained actual letters (well,
reproductions of letters) written by the two main characters. The
letters were in envelopes affixed to the pages, and you could take them
out and read them. The two main characters were named something like
Sabian (perhaps Sabienne? or some other variant) and maybe Paul? I've
looked on Amazon for books using those words as search terms and found
nothing. I also searched for modern epistolary novels and came up empty.
I'm posting this message in the hope that my vague and probably close
but not close enough recollections will jog someone else's memory.
