I do not have the magazines, nor know if these are exactly what you want, but here are some issues with his drawings.
October 1957 - The Winchester Model 12 Repeating Shotgun (history,
exploded view, and disassembly procedure)
January 1961 - Smith & Wesson Military & Police Revolver (history,
exploded view, and disassembly procedure)
February 1961 - Colt Deringer No. 3 (history, exploded view, and
disassembly procedure) James M. Triggs

Project Wombat:
I am trying to identify specific issues of the monthly publication, American Rifleman, which contained line drawings of weapons, shown in disassembled mode [called "exploded" views by technical illustrators], with all parts in relevant juxtaposition to indicate their assembly sequence and numbered to correspond to an accompanying parts list. This publication featured these black-and-white line drawings by James M. Triggs probably in issues appearing during the time span of 1950-1975, as near as I can recall.
Thank you,
Dan Watley
