I already knew about the (all-reprint) anthology cited, which was the
source of the apparently-incorrect ascription of copyright to a McCALL
magazine in the first place. Wollheim, who edited the anthology, was
usually pretty reliable in identifying original sources, but he seems
to have made some sort of mistake on this one, since we've exhausted
that McCALL-corporation-published magazines of the period. I had guessed
that Wollheim's mistake may have been a mental slip for another
"McSOMETHING" magazine, so tried LIBERTY (published by Macfadden and
known to publish a lot of Grimshaw) and MACLEAN'S (known to have
published at least one Grimshaw), but both of those have also now been
shot down. Of course, it's possible Wollheim's error was in the date
rather than the company/title, or it's possible the whole thing was
completely wrong (he got his index cards or whatever misfiled).
