actually, the father A. L. Schutt, was Alois himself. The census takers  were 
never too happy with it... anyway, that son disappears...
 
  The enigma is how Albert or Leo got morphed into "Latte".   (Line 12)... or 
Satte, or ?
Is that a faint "X" over the name?
