[PW] 1880 handwriting conundrum

If the first son is Harry, and the second child is Mamie, #3 could be
Sa?te.  The m from Mamie looks like it has a long down stroke from the
end that comes into the next line.  Note how the recorder wrote the s in
son in the last column.  The last letter in the name must be an e, since
all the other i-s are dotted.  If it was a daughter I would have said
the name was Lotti, but I don't think that would be a boy's name.  If
this name was very foreign, maybe when the boy grew up he changed it to
Albert or Leo.  If my name was Salte, Solte, Softe, or anything like
that, I would change it first chance I got!  More guesses: Laute, Loute,
Saute, or could it be an I?

Child #4 looks like Allois or Alloes to me.  Poor kid.
