I tried searching the CyberHymnal at http://www.cyberhymnal.org/ 
but did not find any song with title "Make Me Dear Father a Blessing".
CyberHymnal seems to be a good resource overall, so that is why I'm
posting to this list. (Closest I get in CyberHymnal is:  Make Me a
Channel of Blessing

NOTE THERE IS A "NAME THAT HYMN DISCUSSION BOARD" WHICH MIGHT BE
HELPFUL.

It looks like you have to register but I think registration is free.
On the right side the default setting is "Forum".  This can be changed
via drop-down menu to "Hymn Lyrics -- Search Requests".
Scroll down to bottom to post a new topic.

I've been asked to locate "sheet music" for a song very quickly and 
am hoping that a list member will recognize this without anyone 
spending a great amount of time looking. The song is needed within 24 
hours for a birthday party, but the patron doesn't want anyone 
devoting a lot of time to locating the item. If we had more time, we 
could use the extensive reference resources typically available to 
libraries and library patrons here in Minnesota.

The only information that has been provided is the supposed title of 
the song/hymn, "Make Me Dear Father A Blessing" (no punctuation was 
provided). We've had no luck using that exact search string. The 
closest we came was "Make Me A Blessing" (words by Ira B. Wilson and 
music by George S. Schuler), but when we provided it to the the 
patron she said it was NOT the correct song.

Anyone recognize "Make Me Dear Father A Blessing" ??
