Kevin, you are SO sadistic to send unsuspecting folk to this thoroughly repulsive description of Komodo Dragons feeding. I saw the
story a couple of hours ago and I'm still trying to get the pictures out of my head.

BTW...my assumption was that the twitching was a result of the dragons movement, as the buffalo couldn't possibly have still been
alive by that point....I hope.

(Did you also find the article through Reddit, as I did?)

How could the water buffalo have endured being devoured without dying of shock and blood loss almost immediately? And surely the
twitching described at the end of the story is merely the result of random, post-mortem firing of neurons and not any indication the
animal is still alive.?
