Subject: [PW] ? Recent Television Catchphrases (Quotation Query #786)

In working on the second edition of the Yale Book of Quotations, I am struggling to add recent television catchphrases. This is tough for me because in recent years I watch very little television other than movies, news, or sports. It may be that many of you to whom I am sending this email also are not up on recent television. But to those who are, I would welcome any input as to which if any of the following recent TV catchphrases may rate as "top 100 of all time TV catchphrase" or "top 200 of all time" candidates.

We've got a situation.

Mike "the Situation" Sorrentino, Jersey Shore

Bazinga.

Sheldon, The Big Bang Theory

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.

Friday Night Lights

Everybody lies.

House, House

Make it work.

Tim Gunn, Project Runway

Dude.

Hurley, Lost

Will you accept this rose?

The Bachelor / The Bachelorette

Or if you have any other suggestions of recent TV catchphrases, that would be great too.

Fred
