[PW] Help ... an earworm ...

I remember that phrase and a snatch of the melody from childhood--late 1950s to early 1960s--on an album of songs from South Africa by Miriam Makeba with other singers. I haven't been able to find any references, but another song I remember from the album was "O Jonathan".
Hope this helps!
Cheerio! Jonathan

Subject: [PW] Help ... an earworm ...

This has been stuck in my head for days :-[

The last line of a song has been driving me sane ... all I can remember are the words "Pity the poor potat', it can't see with its eyes" and the melody that goes with it.

Tried Google and other search engines ...

Sorry to bother you with something so trivial, but if someone were to know it ...
