Hello everyone,
(Try this again and see if this email includes my carriage returns.)
A couple weeks back I posted for help identifying eight pictures. Since then we had our trivia contest, and after finishing fourth the last three years, were very happy to finish third out of 60 teams this year. I didn't get any feedback from wombats this year, but here are the answers to what the pictures were.
#1: Asked the nickname of the boy in the photo. The boy was a soap box derby winner from the 1940's. His nickname was The Graphite Kid.
#5: Asked who created the hay art. The creators were Peterson Farming Brothers
#6: Asked to name the record album that has this picture on the back side. Answer was "Route 66 to Heaven" by The Gospel Hummingbirds
#7: Asked the company who this print advertisement was for. Answer was Caterpiller
#13: Asked the name of this guy. Answer was Samual L. Jackson
#14: Asked to name the company who this print advertisement was for. Answer was American Family Insurance
#18: There were two questions for this picture. First asked his name. It was Seymour. Second question asked his alter ego super hero name. It was Auto Answer Man
#19: Asked to name this boy's name. Answer was Russ Yurk. He was a soap box derby world champion.

For three years in a row we've finished forth, so this year we're shooting to break into the top three and maybe you can help us. This event is put on by a college radio station in Minnesota where first prize is simply a grab-bag of prizes, a traveling trophy and bragging rights.

> > When a team registers for this contest they receive a packet of pictures to identify. There will be a question asked during the 50-hour contest regarding each picture. This is just a small part of the bigger contest, but can make a difference in where we rank among the 50+ teams. So far this year we've had success identifying all but 8 photos.
