Ah, it makes more sense if it was not originally in English. FYI, here is
the original wording  ("Trovarsi: tre atti," p.141 in the 1932 Mondadori
edition):

E questo è vero... E non è vero niente... Vero è soltanto che bisogna
crearsi, creare! E allora soltanto, ci si trova.
