[PW] Artist Francisco Ruiz-Ferrandis?

Dear Wombats:

 

I am trying to find biographical information about a Spanish artist
named Francisco Ruiz-Ferrandis, and not coming up with much. 

 

I've checked the two print resources my library owns: Encyclopedia of
World Art (c. 1959) and the Facts on File Encyclopedia of Art (2005).
General online searching tells me that he was born in 1909, and that it
is uncertain whether he is still living:

that happens to have any information. Otherwise, I may need to get a
free trial of it sooner rather than later.

 

>From the biography angle, I've tried Gale's Biography Resource Center,
Current Biography 1940-2006, Current Biography International Yearbook
2002-2005, and searched for articles from Infotrac OneFile, EBSCO and
Newsbank. We do not have "Who's Who in the World" or "Encyclopedia of
World Biography" and I don't know if he would even be listed there. If
anyone has *any* information whatsoever, I would greatly appreciate
hearing from you. I am not a subscriber, so could you please respond to
