Steve;
Do you have a list of features you think should be included in such a
room? Humidity control, temperature control, fire suppression
systems, etcetera? If so, then it should be relatively easy to get
sample pricing on each element, plus remodelling costs for the room,
from specific contractors.
I work a lot with network operations centers, and I would guess there
are many of the same cost elements in constructing a data center as
there are in constructing a secure document storage facility. I hope
this helps somewhat in defining the scope.
