Go to http://www.libraryjournal.com/ and click on "Prepub alert" below
"Search our reviews."

Alternately, check with your local library and see what review journals are
available.  Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, Booklist, etc. usually have
some advance notice.

Another thought:  if there are particular authors you want, try going to
Amazon's advanced search.  Put in the author's name, limit it to hardcover,
and choose after 2005 or 2006 for the date.  Sometimes that will bring up a
listing.  You might also try limiting it to audio books instead of
hardcover:  a couple of times I've found titles that way when they aren't
yet listed under hardcover.
