[PW] Maria Montessori quote

Hello fellow Wombats,

Help needed finding the source of the following quote:

   "Whoever touches the life of the child touches the most sensitive
point of a whole which has roots in the most distant past and
climbs toward the infinite future."   Maria Montessori

Professor would like to use this quote, but will not use it unless
she can find the source for a proper citation.  I have searched
bartleby.com, quotationspage.com, google and ask.com.  The quote is
found on a number of websites, but with no source.

Any help gratefully appreciated
