Although I haven't been a Stumpers member as long as some, I had
understood that this current list was created as a forum for
non-moderated, and sometimes off-topic, general research questions.

Although the topic in question may have been inflammatory, I felt that
the comments regarding source validity and fact-checking were apropos
of the initial question.

Just my two cents worth, of course, and my opinion.
