A history professor would like to have more information about the
following:

In mid-1941, a group of Japanese Diplomats bowed politely, one by one,
as they departed from a meeting at the White House with President
Franklin D. Roosevelt. As soon as the door clicked shut, the president
is said to have remarked to an aide: "They hate us. Sooner or later
they'll come after us."

She has found references to this comment in two sources but neither has
more information :
Unjust Enrichment: How Japan's Companies Built Postwar Fortunes
Using American POWs by Linda Goetz Homes Page 1
    P. Scott Corbett, Quiet Passages, (Kent, Ohio: Kent State University
Press, 1987), 6.

She would like to know the names of the diplomats in the meeting and /
or the who the aide was as well as any other available information.
