Thank you very much indeed, Barbara. I see a death date here for old Horatio
as Feb 17, 1891, which would make him almost 101 when he died.
His brief claim to fame is that he made a cylinder recording on his 100th
birthday, which would make it one of the oldest such artifacts, since it would
be the voice of someone who was alive during GW's first term of office. It
hasn't turned up yet however.
